The floats are left a natural colour to aid camouflage when fishing high in the water. Top cap incorporates flights to aid accurate casting. Brass base weight fully loads float so no additional shot is needed. The base weight includes incorporates a brass disk, stopping the float from diving, and also ensures the disk can’t easily break, like a separate plastic disk.
